Frog & Fern have 5 cottages to choose from, each furnished in thoughtful cozy comfort. The surrounding garden comprises lawns and tree ferns and beautiful, mature indigenous trees that play host to a wonderful variety of birds and other creatures. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable, lazy getaway or an active holiday of walking, birding and golf this is the place to stay in Chimanimani.

I’ve just visited Zimbabwe and had the pleasure of staying at F and F. It’s a lovely spot with knowledgable, well trained staff and great hosts. You won’t be disappointed. I certainly wasn’t.

Returning to Zimbabwe to show my children this gorgeous land was made all the more special with our stay at Frog and Fern. It is a little bit of heaven in a beautiful environment. Jane went far and beyond making our trip so special and Jose was absolutely amazing! Thanks so much for helping us build more wonderful memories of Chimanimani.

Simply the best place to stay in Chimanimani! A truly magical place that brings you back to nature and instills peace. We stayed in Pip’s cottage for three nights. Pip’s is like a magical tree house; it has everything you need and nothing more… The upstairs balcony and bedroom brings you right into the trees, a great place to take in sun sets and to get closer to the stars The bathroom upstairs is very useful to avoid going down the spiral stair case mid night to get to the loo! Jane and José are gracious hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Jane is super invested in the community, which is both beautiful and inspiring. Hike and swim up to Bridal Vale is a must, as well as Tess’ Pool… Chimanimani reminds us of how beautiful our planet is and how we must individually and collectively commit to its protection. We will be back for sure!
